You mean that he said that all numbers are estimates and that none of them are real?

Would go for the disc version that you probably can find around the same price.
Also they should do like a 7 day free trial for the game so people can check it out. The negative press must be difficult to convince people to get the game.

more of how they dont mean much. and from what i know 90% of NPD's data is from retailers, so 90% of NPD is real.

Yeah, he mostly makes points that I agree with in his videos, but this "eeeh not so much", sales mean quite a lot. And yeah NPD numbers can be taken as pretty damn accurate representations of reality.

he also hints at only quarterly numbers being the only "for sure" numbers. press releases are accurate as well. that 18.5 million number for PS4 is real, for example.

But but but bunduru sales don't count. TLOU really only sold 500K unbundled. It would have never been this big! /s |
Pfff, I don't care.
Anyone that has been on this site or has followed videogames somewhat since 2013 knows that the game is a massive success already, so I say Sony should go for it, bundle it with every PS4 sold for a year, bring the game up to over 20 million units sold and then watch the sequel become 10-12 million (maybe more) seller on its own. The game will convince people of its greatness as long as they get to play it. :P

Also he didn't mention that quarterly numbers are all shipments, that kinda bugged me as well.

yeah and then he goes to say how they are out of date... ughh they are just a few months old by the time of release, and we know by what date exactly. its kind of a lame point.

DC costs the equivalent of 77 Euros here so at least in my case going for the digital version is WAY cheaper.
The One and Only
Still, I think the point Bosman was making is that video game sales are not as readily available as sales for other media like movies.
