I think not and yeah it's pretty stupid, just buying the full version from the get go seems like the better idea, of you're interested in the game.

You can get the "real" version in half a year for less money, if true... Sounds stupid for me.

Agree. I think we should just let things run...i dont see the need to have it marked down already. That way anyone, who is willing to do the thread, can do it.

Probably. I guess this is Sony testing a new sales model, I reckon it won't be a very successful test though.

sounds like a crappy deal for the consumer if you ask me. PSN+ should get the entire game free. There hasnt been a AAA game given away for free on PS4 yet.
Now i hate making the distinction between AAA and the rest but they should easily be able to give away driveclub for free. I mean its not like the game is gonna do great anyways.

it should be done before hand though, that way most E3 talk can be done in it and we wont get a billion threads about each confrence. we wouldnt need a hype thread and a speculation thread and all that. an official thread would be enough for all that talk.

well i understand if we dont get the full game for free, after all they spent millions making it and want to make some profit back. however, the upgrade plan should be like 20$ bucks. and it SHOULDNT be tied to my PS+ sub.
this is just a bullshit move from sony, no way around it. i hope this fails (not the game, but the upgrade plan) so sony wont try to pull this shit off again.

That would be crazy of Sony, the game's gotten a whole lot more expensive since it was delayed 11 months, they need to try and at least get some of that money back in.
Driveclub probably won't be a huge seller, but I guess it can reach a million, especially since racing games are always a popular choice for a bundle later on.

Yes i agree, should be done before hand. But we are still quite a few weeks out...someone is definitely going to make a thread. So whoever gets to it first should be allowed to do so. If things dont change in the coming weeks then by all means we should start discusing who should do an E3 thread.
Also i think each conference should definitely get its own thread....we have way too many mega threads these days. It actually discourages a lot of people from posting and in some cases it even discourages people from reading the thread.
I usually stick to a rule when it comes to creating threads that have multiple sub topics....usually if a thread has so much information that you need to start linking things in the OP, which in effect you are creating a mini forum in itself ( aka "forumception"), then it was never suppose to be a single thread. The forum facilitates multiple topics...and it does so in a pretty efficient way. Once you start cramming news into one thread thats when you find people actually find it becomes inefficient. This is typically why people stay out of the Nation threads.
In any case i just think we should let it run organically for now, no need for intervention yet.
Plus all the new threads popping up with sensationalist titles is part of the fun during E3
