the right question would be whats right with the OP? and the answer to that is nothing, he sucks.

i finished Bloodborne (again, i finished NG+) and The Old Hunters, and i have that feeling of "now what?". the obvious answer is Uncharted 4, but that wont release for 10 days...

i must say, i love bloodborne, its a fantastic game and i didnt give it the credit it deserves when i first played it. it is truly a masterpiece, and it is truly worth buying a PS4 for (along side other games it has)

Ratchet & Clank?

not a fan of the series honestly, never played it. and platformers arent really the type of games i want, it does look good however, so i will just wait for it to come on PS+

i already played Red Dead Redemption

RDR wasn't even the best game of its generation, smh.

It was close, but God Of War III took that spot for me.

Still being the second best game in a generation is an achievement itself.

I actually agree it was the second best game that gen... but behind The Last of Us

Though as time pass I'm getting more and more inclined to Demon's Souls over RDR as well, I dunno, RDR had a bigger impact at me at the time, but Demon's Souls has been having the upper hand on my prefference on recent years very clearly, I even went back to play both, I still liked playing RDR again a whole lot but Demon's Souls was superb over and over again.

But yeah, RDR is a damn great game, one of the best of its gen, but not THE best, at least IMO.

To some it is, like the banana guy here :P

But I'll tell you one thing. I recently tried going back to the Wild West on my PS3. Replayed a few mission and I must say it has aged poorly. The world is awesome but the gunplay, graphics and framerate are quite poor. The cover system is bad, and so is the AI as well as the controls. Demon Souls, as I remember, must have aged more gracefully.

But I think titles should be judged on their quality relative to their time of release if we are talking about the best games of a gen. Shooters especially evolve very quickly so older games become dated quicker.

This Uncharted 4 screenshot.... jeeeeeeez

I don't think RDR aged that poorly, the graphics are not great nowdays, but aren't poor.

The thing is, Demon's Souls is just more my kind of game, RDR immersion was what played the biggest role with me, I simply loved being there, discovering, it'll never be less than an awesome experience, but its fading a bit away compared to how well Demon's Souls has managed to hold being great to play, I still count RDR as the second, but I don't know if it's fair anymore, they were never very far away games on my liking, 2nd and 3rd from their gen, both masterpieces, both 10s, I may even have placed RDR over Demon's Souls because I played it later, that kind of stuff happens, I was so damn happy with RDR that I might have been a bit unfair with DS in the placing at the time for the best game that gen (as TLOU was still to come).

My opinion about the game is still and will keep being the same, if I start putting it at 3rd or keep it at 2nd, though.

Graphics are not terrible but the textures, aliasing and animations are really bad, they also make the game look unpleasant.

But that wasn't my main concern when I played it recently. As I said its the gameplay, they need to improve on the core mechanics a lot in RDR 2.
