I'm gonna say it for the 100th time: Sucker Punch should make inFAMOUS 3, following 2's Evil Ending. I'd be fine with a sequel to Second Son but before Sucker Punch stops with the inFAMOUS franchise I need a sequel to 2's Evil Ending!

That's pretty much the main reason I want them to try one more inFAMOUS game. They've nailed the gameplay and graphics, but they haven't really done the things you've listed. A game with a better story and all that content—to go along with their already great gameplay and graphics—could make for an amazing game.

Yeah, it's pretty much the reason why I didn't play another Infamous after the first one, I got that one for free after the PSN hack and I honestly didn't like it very much, it would have been pretty good to me as a more linear action game but as an open world title I found it to be entirely inadequate as the side content was just boring as shit. I didn't even pay attention to the second one because of that but got back on the "hype train" for Second Son just to find out that it still seemed to have the same problems as the first one (watched the game on Youtube after reading some reviews), which left me rather disappointed.

There are so many things I can think of that they could add or change in the series that I think would make it way cooler, I just hope that some of the guys at Sucker Punch come up with similar ideas to the ones going on in my crazy head. :D

I don't know if you would like the second one since you didn't like the first, but it is easily the best one out of the series and, in my opinion, an amazing game.

they can still improve the gameplay by integrating all the powers together IMO. or mixing them up a bit. they also dont a more vague choice system. forget the "good and evil" paths, let the players see what is good and what is evil for them selfs. the best moral system in gaming is ones conscience

Mixing the powers would be pretty awesome, but it's not something I'm actively hoping for. Completely agree about the "Good vs Evil" choices though. They're completely pointless at this point. Their only purpose, in my opinion, is to get gamers to playthrough the game a second time. The thing is if you are playing as a good guy, there is no reason to switch to evil at any point since it'll screw up your progression. The same is true for the reverse.

I got both inFAMOUS games free from PS+ so that might also have been a reason I really enjoyed them

while finishing production of IF2, the plan was to make IF3 following the evil ending of infamous 2. but since the majority of players chose the good ending. Sucker Punch decided to honor that and continue the story line down that route.

yeah exactly. even though if for choice 1 you agree with the good choice and want it. if choice 2 comes along and you agree with the bad choice, you cant chose it because you are already commited. which breaks immerison and breaks the "freedom of choice" the game gives you.

I want SP to continue making the infamous series there's not a lot of serious originally superhero franchise in video game without existing IP's like batman.
