After the Gamespot guy said that NMS won't be at Sonys conference it looks like we'll get news on it tomorrow after all (might not be in the Sony conference though)

That's NMS's audio director.

I'd say it's likely but that dude from Gamespot apparently knows Sean Murray pretty well.

Maybe it'll just get a trailer and 2016 release window.

That'd be extremely weird, just a month ago Sonys Fergal Gara counted NMS among Sonys games for this holiday season.

Who knows maybe it does get a release date for this year, but I honestly doubt it. I've seen a couple gaming journalists say they don't believe it's coming this year and I wouldn't be surprised if they're right.

Did he? Then why would it be rumoured to skip E3?

He did:

"The immediate challenge for Sony, however, is this Christmas. Xbox already boasts a line-up that contains exclusive titles such as Rise of the Tomb Raider, Halo 5 and Forza 6. But PlayStation has been tight-lipped on its plans.

“I won’t go into any detail now,” adds Gara. “There is plenty for gamers to get excited about already, such as Tearaway for PS4 and No Man’s Sky. That’s just the start of what is on the table right now. So I don’t have any concerns that we will have a lack of strong software for PS4
this peak.”"

And it is rumoured to not be at the conference, which admittetly would be weird too, but who knows what they are planning.
