So here we are 5 months into this new year and this great time for all us gamers is nearly here.Hype trains are on full force, companies try to create anticipation, teasers pop out of nowhere, gamers are prepared to be amazed and be dissapointed all over again.E3 is only a month away! We've seen the big three trying to impress us and achieve it or fail big.We have seen third parties rise to the occasion and beat them to their own race or fall into the same miserable fate. We've seen big names appearing on stage, live performances, live demos and fitness, music and casual games that noone really wants to hear.As years gone by some companies changed their approach towards the show and it's importance but for every videogame bloger, gamer, analyst this is the most exciting time of the gaming year.So what's that one conference you will always remember? That you thought that it was perfectly done and managed to create great anticipation and hype about their upcoming projects or games? What made it all work? Was it one awesome moment or the conference as a whole that made it memorable to you?Is it one of the big three or a third party won that war for you?

The MS one where FFXIII was announced for 360... 2008, I think? Nothing will ever hold a candle to those meltdowns.

2013
Never seen such a one sided E3.

E3 2004
nothing beats Reggie's first appearance, DS reveal, and Zelda TP reveal trailer.

I think I will go with Nintendo's E3 2004 conference! Why?  Eveything about it was awesome! The RE4 trailer was awesome, the Metroid Prime 2 trailer was awesome and the Pokemon FireRed trailer was also nice! The best part of that E3 conference was easily the Zelda reveal though!

I'm shocked and amazed all over again when I see that moment Nintendo showed Twilight princess to the crowd and everyone, including me behind my screen, went insane.

Nintendo's 2006 press conference really stood out from the rest for me.A really inovative concept backed by francises everyone love. The way they prepared the crowd for it,the scope, the importance and the care they put on it was also beyond compare for me.No wonder Wii flew of the shelves for years to come.

Obviously last year! Never heard such rousing applause and such a victory for consumers. I sincerely thought Sony would follow suit and they played it soooo perfectly by being coy until E3. They had the last conference and used that advantage perfectly by dropping bomb after bomb on MS. Probably the single biggest E3 conference in terms of shifting the market (aside from perhaps Sony coming in at $100 under SEGA in 94 as well as SEGA releasing immediately and pissing off everyone in the process).
