If Microsoft buys Nintendo, we'll be lucky if one gen after that we get a free to play 3D Mario developed by a bottom of the barrel western studio.

Microsofts first party is a testament to the fact that they cannot handle Nintendos IP's. Nintendos IP's are masterfully crafted, regardless of their circumstances and they don't run things out every two years like MS. They actually care for overall quality for all of their IP's and not just two or three.

The Wii's first party was great even though the third party was crap. This is always guaranteed with Nintendo win or lose.
