Also keep in mind, unlike nazi Europe, in America you can refill your one liter cup as many times as you like for no additional charge.

You can refill the cup in Europe as well. Just not a 1 liter cup, lol.

I think the main difference between us is that Americans have created the cathegory of "chubby", which is just plain old fat in Europe.

When it comes to me, I've got fat recently :/ Was working out for some time, building muscle and when I should start shedding the fat I got a series of injections in knee and my doctor forbid me to work out for over a month :( I put up a coulpe kilos in that period (organism was used to taking in a lot due to the weight exercises). Thankfully the ban period is over and now I'm back to getting rid of this crap. Hopefully I'll manage to get that bloody six-pack back in August.

EDIT: I used to play some Wii Sports Boxing as a form of anaerobic exercise ;) It can be a fun way to add aditional exercise to your workout.

Wii U is a GCN 2 - I called it months before the release!

My Vita to-buy list: The Walking Dead, Persona 4 Golden, Need for Speed: Most Wanted, TearAway, Ys: Memories of Celceta, Muramasa: The Demon Blade, History: Legends of War, FIFA 13, Final Fantasy HD X, X-2, Worms Revolution Extreme, The Amazing Spiderman, Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate - too many no-gaemz :/

My consoles: PS2 Slim, PS3 Slim 320 GB, PSV 32 GB, Wii, DSi.

This thread has reminded me that I need to take a break and go to my local convienance store to refill my 44oz cup with Iced Tea for $0.54. :) Gotta love America.

I never unfatted. The whole motion-control trend sort of passed me by.

Even if I'd bought into it, though, I probably wouldn't have pursued exercise through it. Exercise for its own sake never appealed to me.

As an American, I'd have to ask you to clarify "fat"... and "again".

Over 100kg is fat. However, Americans would consider that an athletic build. The American fat (200kg+) is categorized as whale in Europe.

If it were only that simple.  Height and muscles doesnt matter anymore?..  A person at 1.60 metres weighing 80kg seems like a whale to me.

I'm actually losing a little weight thanks to Just Dance and Wii Fit U, so that's good.

Interesting question and amusing replies. I don't understand why some of you felt the need to hurl insults though? I mean, calling people "fat fucks" and the like... I just think it makes people sound like *censored*, considering no one has been hurling insults at random.

The jibes at Americans and the distortion of American culture is actually really amusing, and I would advise those across the pond to not believe everything that people (especially those who dislike America) say. Not everything is true and to believe everything you read or are hear by word of mouth will turn you into ignorant sheep. Fight ignorance.

As for the actual question, I love swimming and swimming is considered a great exercise that works out the entire body, so those looking to lose weight might wanna check it out! But in the cold winter months when pools aren't readily accessible (unless you go to an indoor pool, of course) I love to take walks with my nephews. It is good to instill the idea of keeping active in children so that they don't become accustomed to being stationary throughout the day.

I lost around 10 kg with Wii Fit (+) a few years ago and gained it again in the meantime.
Almost 100kg at 1.96m. Not really fat, but a little too much.

Maybe I'll start Wii Fit U because I bought the Fit Meter to unlock the demo. Didn't play it until now.

This is good advice. The US is actually much worse than what you tend to believe in Europe.

i had 70 kg when i was 18 (had the same size)
then up to 90 due to alcohol
now i lost 10 kg within a year and sitting at healthy 80 kg.
