I mean Sega pretty much coined the term "blast processing" for marketing purposes just to make the Genesis look more powerful than the SNES, when in reality the SNES was overall the stronger console specswise.
Is this what MS is trying to do now? They constantly keep using the term "cloud" and claiming how it can provide your Xbox One with three times more computational power than normal when in reality almost all multiplats look and run better on the PS4 since the PS4 is the stronger console specswise.
Do you think the "cloud" is for all intents and purposes just a buzzword like "blast processing", or will the cloud play any significant role in gaming in this generation? I feel as though 10-20 years from now when the general internet infrastructure around the world is much stronger, the cloud might play more of an important role in gaming, but right now it's just a nice marketing ploy to make the Xbox One appear stronger than it actually is compared to the PS4.
