Considering that this poll came up as a result of my suggestion:

Let me just say that it was constructed poorly.

Way too many options, with many being trolling options.
Wii/Ps3/360 should not be part of the equation

I sold my PS3 so I could reinvest the money into a Wii U. Only missed one game that I'm aware of (last of us) so it was a very good decision considering waiting longer would have negatively affected the value of my sell.

Its funny that the PS3 now is almost equivalent, trade in value wise, at gamestop to that of the wii U.  Waiting longer, you could have gotten a better deal on the Wii U as the price on the primary and secondary markets have collapsed since launch.

It did in context with the original thread.  The question was whether people were buying multiplats on their ps4s/xboxones instead of the WiiU.  It was argued that they were buying them on their Ps4s/XBox1's...I argued that most people who owned wiiU's didn't have ps4s and xbox1's.

But you're absolutely right.

thats exactly what it says in the OP so im not even sure where you are getting the PS4 xone thing from as he made no mention of them besides the poll, so im not sure what you are trying to ge at. Did he change it? I dont think he did.

True, like any console launch, I could have waited two years and gotten it cheaper. However, I wouldn't have been able to play all of the games I've enjoyed over that time frame either. As I mentioned only one PS3 game since wiiu launch has interested me.

My bad.  I've checked the history.  Guess I should have read the thread again after the weekend.  I misread his first statement at p34/xbox1, at least in my mind.

I have an Xbox 360 and a PS3. If the Wii U version of a game is the superior one or uses the gamepad in a clever way I purchase that version. If it is a multiplayer game and I have a higher likelihood of other friends purchasing it on one of the other machines I will buy the other version to play with them (since none of them have Wii U's).
