So we know already their big holiday game.

what do you mean by game (singular)?

Do you expect them to release another big one?

Obviously, I expect other big games.

Huh? It was already clear, that the Wii U Version is coming in 2014, was announced in the smash bros. direct oô

I hope for the Wii U's sake it's not released a few days before New Years. Nintendo needs to get as many holiday sales as possible. A late November release would be best, imo

Xbox One - PS4 - Wii U - PC

Makes one wonder what the hell WiiU will have in 2015 and beyond, these (as well as the Mario games allready out) are Nintendos biggest guns.

Xbox: Best hardware, Game Pass best value, best BC, more 1st party genres and multiplayer titles.

Probably more games, but that's just a guess!

"2014 will see the arrival of not one, but two new Super Smash Bros. games: Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS and Super Smash Bros. for Wii U. To commemorate this occasion, Nintendo is inviting 16 highly skilled Super Smash Bros. players to the NOKIA Theatre L.A. LIVE in Los Angeles to compete in a Super Smash Bros. for Wii U tournament. Thousands of fans in the audience and countless more watching a live stream online will see new Super Smash Bros. characters clash with existing favorites in action for the first time. More important than declaring a winner, however, this event is a celebration of all things Super Smash Bros., and a great way for new and veteran fans to take part in a tribute to this legendary franchise. More information about the 16 invited participants in the tournament, the identity of the announcers, and how fans of the franchise can view the tournament in person and via webcast, will be communicated shortly."

This should put an end to the speculation that "winter 2014" could mean some time in 2015.  Smash Bros. is coming to Wii U in 2014.

So they're not having a press conference, but they're renting out the NOKIA Theatre for a fucking Smash Tournament!?

Nintendo, you slick bastards.

Wait, so does this mean that there's going to be a live audience tournament?

The Zelda game we haven't seen yet. Plus Shin Megami Tensei X Fire Emblem, Yarn Yoshi and whatever they're revealing at E3 that's slated for a 2015 release.

Well, Zelda U seems certain for 2015 (will probably be shown at E3).  Other than that, I'm guessing Animal Crossing and Metroid Prime 4 as well, but who knows.  Also, there will likely be another Mario Galaxy game at some point.

I feel like you don't really know that much about Nintendo if you can't think of any games besides Mario and Smash Bros that they can release.

Zelda isn't out yet, and there's still Metroid, and there are a few games they announced already that aren't out yet.  While these may not all be as big as Mario Kart or Smash Bros, it's weird to EXPECT there to be titles that keep 1-upping the next.
