Should we really get 3DS games on WiiU, I'd want it to be done GBPlayer style. I'm really not feeling like rebuying all of my DS/3DS (digitally, of all things) games just to play them on a big screen. Shit like that is the reason I still regularly use my PSP since Vita can only play PSP games digitally, and I haven't bought many Virtual Console(/PS Classics or whatever) games (apart from the 0,30€ ones and EarthBound), since, if I'd really want to have a game, I'd buy it physically.

On the other hand, I'd be willing to pay 100€ for an WiiU add on that allows it to read DS/3DS cartridges. That would be so glorious.

Oh, and also, the same thing stops me from being excited for a GC virtual console. I mean, there's no harm done by having one and there are certainly people that love the prospect, so I welcome the idea, but it's of no use for me personally.

Anyway, GameCube games would be welcomed with open arms

We're going to see GameCube games on the VC at some point but I've got a feeling that we're going to see a select few games given the Wind Waker HD treatment first.

Nintendo have conversion software that made Wind Waker HD possible from start to finish in less than 6 months, I can't see them passing up the opportunity to do the same with other titles given the money they made from Wind Waker HD.

I'd personally like to see Nintendo making this software available to third parties, it would give them a low cost and low risk method of supporting the Wii U for an easy profit.

We need KIU Uprising on the WiiU, whether it's an original game or a 3DS port doesn't matter.

Yeah, I struggle to think how people can think the biggest hurdle to putting GC games on WiiU is to re-assign buttons to an almost matching controller -__-

Why didnt you ask if they are adding Xenoblade and other rare wii games to the eshop? Or was that implied. It all sounded a bit vague to me.

Don't know whether or not I would fully believe this, but it all isn't something unimaginable. Except the part about the GameCube controller (Gamepad has more buttons than GC controller, how hard can it be?), I don't see anything strange. Personally I'm not exactly waiting for GameCube VC games, because to me there wouldn't be any I'm really interested in that I don't have and can't play the real thing of already, but I suppose it would be neat for those that want it.

I remember this thing popping up at Nintendoeverything. Not real of course, and just some guy doing a bit of Photoshop, but would be cool if it were. Needless to say, I'd buy this.
