Unfortuanetly japan will not be close but US might overtake BW (depends on legs+holiday) and for rest of the world i think XY will prevail! Will see soon enough...

Black & White did suffer heavily from piracy I think. The sales curve of the game literally flatlined almost immediately after the solid release. But, even though B&W should've been higher than it is, that doesn't take away from the fact that X/Y has been doing very good!

I think the game will beat the DS Pokémons when it's all said and done in a couple of years.

I think piracy played a part in all this. Its good the 3DS managed to dodge it.

I hope it sells more. Id like to see it pass Diamond/Pearl while we're at it. XY is amazing and I love pokemon in general so i hope to see it rise rather than decline.  THough i know the rise of digital hunders what we see on VGC

Quite a performance given the difference in user base, but entirely deserved. Warms my heart too see that we Europeans love the franchise as much as ever ^_^
