Multiplatform games dont push consoles? Hmm, yes you would be right except if 1. The game is better on one console then another (Madden 2008) 2. If the game presents something unique to one versus the other. (GTA 4)

I wonder why MS spent 50 Million dollars on GTA 4 content. See the ROI, NPV, IRR and PI of that investment has to be justified in terms of increased sales. Do you think that the people at MS who are highly educated are really that dumb to pay that much money if it wouldnt sell more on there console? I dont want to get into these flamming session but use some common sense please.

 Same reason why they are buying off limited-exclusivity in Japan in games such as Trusty Bell and Tales... boggle us all.

It is true that FFX-2 and FFXII arent great. The fact is. FF fans will buy em no matter what. Well not exactly. But by the look of it. FFXIII does look amazing. You have to admit.

Yeah, you just see xbox flying off the shelves there in Japan to justify the millions of dollars Microsoft spent on game time-exclusivity. right?

Does selling 1-2K of extra hardware worth the MILLIONS spent on time-exclusive games? Microsoft thinks so, most of us say "WTF"?

Absolutely. The only reason I didn't argue his point about GT5's greatness is because Prologue is already out and getting rave reviews. I'm sure the full version will be great, too.

And you're right, no game is guaranteed to be great, same goes to the 360 games coming out this year.

Well, most of the people can tell if a game is going to be great just by looking at some in-game play. Of course, there are exceptions, but most of the time, yes

We all know GoW2 will be great, FFXIII will too, It's hard for a proven developer to mess up royally
