Yes I’d like to see the big publishers as long as they offer digital/physical version as it would essentially allow backers to pre-order games. It would also help eliminate the risk/cost for them.

I know the company, but I didn't know they were doing this. Are they doing this because of financial troubles or are they just being innovative? I think it would be awesome if all publishers did something like this.

A publisher setting up a Kickstarter sounds like a paradox to me. Isn't one of the main benefits of Kickstarter the fact that you don't have to go through a publisher?

Also, at the end of the day, even the biggest Kickstarters are only chump change for big projects...

My thoughts as well. I treat it was a preorder in many ways, where I know I'll end the final product so I support it knowing I'm going to get a copy of the game.
