MS were right, we are all thieves. It is a shame that their online check idea was so offensive only for it to be a good idea.

Hmm, pie.

If this is true then I might actually buy an Xbone.

The hacked story has been proven false, The Xbox one has not been hacked! It's pure bullshit. Do some research, original story was only out about a hour till it was proven false.

Its good news if anything. Means more Xbox sales. 360 was hacked very early yet software sales still were very healthy

Xbox: Best hardware, Game Pass best value, best BC, more 1st party genres and multiplayer titles.

Again, the chat talks about "public key" on the die. In asymmetric crypto, the public key can't sign squat. It can only verify the signing. You need the private key to sign, and that's not going to be on the die.

The way they got the PS3's private key was due to a screw up with the DSA "k" value. Would be a major screw up if MS did something similar to give up their private key.

My 8th gen collection

Thereby justifying MS original reasons of wanting to make the XBO a DRM nightmare.

Like I said right from the start.

I don't know how many % of hackers Microsoft hits with bans on 360 (no more online, etc.) but I assume they will keep doing that and try to keep LIVE clean.
In the end, they couldn't care less about people who pirate games because they most likely wouldn't have bought any of those games anyways. They just need to keep the hackers and cheaters from destroying online for all the others.
