Didn't realize it was a crime to borrow ideas from other genres. Im surprised the makers of League of Legends didn't sue lol.

I didnt realize either. Who said such a thing?

You did. A competitive FPS introduces "creeps" and it just "doesn't compute". Not their problem.

Xbox: Best hardware, Game Pass best value, best BC, more 1st party genres and multiplayer titles.

I'd maybe pick it up for 360 and I have constant access to a 360 in my home. Again I'd CONSIDER even getting the game on 360 in the first place.. You're asking if I would buy a $500 console to play a $60 game on a system that is "new" when I can enjoy the same game on my 360 or PC? The game is worth a future GameFly rental for me for sure, on 360 of course. It might blow me away but my expectations are tempered. No one around here talks about the One or Titanfall. I live in a college town and I remember when GTA 5 release the lines at all 3 local Gamestops were crazy long. There has been none of that for the One or Titanfall and I don't get it. I thought the hype for this game was insane. But everywhere I went no one was talking about it. I saw these very high production commercials on tv and I was blown away. People might make a passing mention of it or how they wanna pick it up on 360. Will I buy an X One for a game that no one will talk about in 6 months? No thank you. I will buy an X One when the good stuff starts to flood in, and it will.

Still doesnt prove that I said it was a crime to do it.

I just said they did a "bad job of convincing anyone why creeps should appear in competitive online fps"

If people got praised for trying, everyone would be praised.

I feel like Titan Fall alone no, but the thing is the one has Ryse and DR3 too! :D. Those 2 games look amazing even though i haven't played them yet. I haven't had any hands of experience with Titan fall either, but my brother has and he loves it, granted he likes Cod Ghosts where as I think it's a mediocre game :P. We have different opinions just felt like adding... I'm into RPGS he's into FPS.

PSn - greencactaur
Nintendo Switch FC - SW - 5152 - 6393 - 5140 Please feel free to add me :)

I got the TF bundle and returned it a week later. TF is a fun game but its to bare bones of a game and not enough players. Not to mention the AI kills my mood in the game so much. Every time I think Im killing a person and its just AI so annoying.

Honestly whenever I played TF it just made me want to go play BF4 which I would end up doing eventually.

I will not comment on the quaility of the game to much as I only played the Beta. But I hated the AI in the Beta. They were extremely dumb...

Yea I don't understand why they didn't include a mode to not have them. The devs were very arrogant when it came to this game in general. "6v6 is perfect we tested it", "The AI is essential we tested it".

How is this arrogance? Sounds like typical game design to me. Was it "arrogant" of Sucker Punch to base Infamous 3 in Seattle? Maybe they should have also included Chicago. Let the players decide which is best. Should Forza 5 have also included bicycles? Open track versus skate park, let me decide where I want to play the game you arrogant ass Turn 10! Seems pretty petty imho. They play tested the shit out of the game and decided 6v6 was the best balance. And they decided that no AI creeps messed up the flow of the game too much.

I assume you have spent substantial time with Titanfall? Everyone is entitled to their opinion and mine is no more "right" than yours, but I am genuinely curious how anyone could play the game and not come away thinking the creeps help balance the game out. Can you imagine a mode with out? They should call it Titan of Duty, because all it would be is a bunch of guys camped out/cloaked out waiting for people to run by and kill them. Until they spawned their Titan of course, then it would be a massacre. The creeps work exactly as they do in a MOBA game and it balances the game out. Now someone on a team that might be pretty shitty, can farm a few creeps and spawn his own Titan and even the match up a little bit. It's pretty much perfect. What you're asking for is not "letting the players decide whats best" it's "completely changing the core of the game". And for a mode that would be very unpopular.

That said, they added a bunch of dumb shit to CoD so maybe they will add this camper haven mode. But the creeps are there for good reason and it sure wasn't arrogance.

Not really the same thing, since Sukcer Punch is based in Seattle and this allowed them to create a more grounded, realistic, and better structured world for their game, so it's actually beneficial for the game, whereas AI grunts in Titanfall actually work against the game and are nowhere near essential. In fact, they are completly unneccesarry

Those are some cool excuses bro but the point whizzed right over your head.

I will say no.

Because? I did not buy a Wii just because of Zelda TP, I simply bought the game for my GC instead. And Zelda is my favourite game series. So I would not buy X1 just for one game that I could play on another system that I owned. Even if Titanfall was the best game ever in my opinion. Because I could play it on my other system(s).

If one does not own a PC or X360 to play it, then yes, I would buy it. If the game appealed to me that much.

But I did however buy TP for Wii later, when I finally bought my Wii. :P

No. The combo of Killer Instinct, Dead Risin 3 and Titanfall makes it a must have. Its the perfect multiplayer console, for now. Hopefully more singleplayer finds its way. The Xbox is always the most fun console to have at the beginning of a generation because MS makes sure its full of entertaining games exclusiviely. If you have a 360 there isnt really a reason otherwise to jump ship to the next gen. I didn't have a 360 and my cousin gave me his second one. In retrospect after playing it and having so much fun I actually think I should've bought this before my PS4. I love infamous, and there are other games but I find myself on the One more than anything right now.

No one game is worth a console. People that are buying X1's are buying it for Dead Rising, Forza, Titanfall, Halo, Gears of War, etc. The same goes for Sony and to a lesser extent Nintendo.
