i have exactly the same impressions.
gamepad is much more awesome than i thought i would be before i get it.

how many more impressions we can see a pettern: those who experience the wii U think it is better than he thought it was before he get it.

Glad to hear you enjoy the console. It's a pretty cool system to be honest, even in a worst case scenario, the Wii U will be remembered as a great console with really awesome and unique games!

yer I keep telling people the gamepad is something you need to try for a while before dismissing it.

Sadly this is also a double edge sword for the system as most people will not give it "much time" to try it. The controller really needed to capture them within the first 1-2hours of play

Sadly, this also means that the next Nintendo console likely won't use the Gamepad.

Would be understandable though as not many will have Wii Us anyway and they have too many different controllers as is.
