Nah, it´s not wrong.
I´d just say buy new games as often as possible and don´t buy a used game over a new copy when there is a tiny price difference like 5 €/$ and you are golden.
...not to mention that there are instances where you ....by all means... have to buy a game used to play it (basically every game that was released before...say...2010)
Oh, the big exception are EA games, you should always buy them used :P
