Or if they were really smart, DLC Cups each month or 2 weeks at a reasonable price, say $5 and add an extra 4 cups or so. Could also add game modes, difficulties, speed modes, racers, bikes etc. etc.
Seriously this game and Smash are both really well made for DLC

Something that has been confirmed not to change isn't changing.

What has changed about the characters?

The fact that it used to show all characters but now extra spots can be opened up when a new character is unlocked. I believe that was 1st in Wii but maybe also in DS. The same thing could happen with GPs

Nothing has changed about how the character select functions in MK8 from it's predecessor, and no it couldn't happen in MK8 because it's already been confirmed not to happen. How many times must I say it!?

I dont recall saying it had changed in MK8 and I dont recall Nintendo saying that there isnt more than 8 Cups =P
