Well done VGChartz, absolutely spot-on Wii U tracking. |
Yes both nintendo systems spot on kinda funny, PS4 massively undertrack and X1 overtracked. Vita under 11k (Overtracked by over double actually almost triple!) @EB1994 "Pls Understand"
VGC numbers: vs NPD
X1 - 346,152 311k
PS4 - 306,050 371k
3DS - 156,283 159k
360 - 74,995 111k
Wii U - 73,761 70k
PS3 - 57,219
Vita - 28,020 10k

so we have WiiU numbers.
On a side note if Titanfall was > 1 Million.... WOW that's incredible sales for a game on a console with such a low userbase (well on even a high userbase that's great). Big success in terms of numbers.

Your post is easilly summed up.

Not sure if you genuinely believe what you're saying or are really just that painfully ill informed, it's as if the past month and a half news on update 1.70 didn't happen.

You have any idea if those include PC sales? I'd imagine the PC version would be low though, since most people use Steam nowadays.

I was reading the last few pages, I've gotta laugh about this user tbone. Here he goes again talking about the vita. In a post about the wii U. Is that what, four times or five times
Lol at 50/50 on the poll.
Anyway, we know that hardware sales is down, so we have all number less ps3. Can someone do the math? to discover ps3 sales?
"Hardware design isn’t about making the most powerful thing you can.
Today most hardware design is left to other companies, but when you make hardware without taking into account the needs of the eventual software developers, you end up with bloated hardware full of pointless excess. From the outset one must consider design from both a hardware and software perspective."

So you can't ensure that 90% of those 4M+ are the annual 3rd party always will be multiplat franchises. You shouldn't make statements about game sales on a game sales website without checking the accuracy of your statements first. |
Yes, and I checked... and I was right, as we werent talking about first part exclusive AND the fact that by the end of the day it was only 33 games that if you look at the 360 will be almost mirrored on the COD/BF/Assassins Creed situation.
Third party exclusives usually sell way below 4 or 3mi...
Take a look at Resistance series: http://www.vgchartz.com/gamedb/?name=resistance&publisher=&platform=&genre=&minSales=0&results=200
Or Dead Rising: http://www.vgchartz.com/gamedb/?name=dead+rising&publisher=&platform=&genre=&minSales=0&results=200
Alas, third party exclusive deals are not that expensive and are a risk more to MS or Sony than to the developer/publisher.
