Depends, answer these questions...

Are you only getting a few games lifetime on it (No More Than 5)?

Are you going to game on it most of the time indoors (especially at home)?

If you answered both yes, then this is a deal for you. You wont spend more than $300 all together just for some games you want and you'll only play at home.

 

3DS XL is by far the best choice, and you can always find good deals on them (i think target gives you a free $50 gift card right now with an XL).

I know you personally like jrpgs, There are a couple good gems (Fire Emblem is a must have/Bravely Default/MH3 or MH4 when it comes out/ SMT IV )

There are a couple others that are good that arent jrpgs you might like! SSB/Mario Games

I highly recommend RE revelation if you love the original games!

Why didn't they also do $50 off on Wii U instead of a Gift Card? Not that it matters either way to me as those $50 I saved are going straight towards Mario Kart 8!
