if this is about public perception, the public doesnt take the WIi U seriously, thats all there is too it. Sales show that.

GC had those things and it still got stomped. But to be fair it didnt do that much worse than Xbox, but IMHO it had no buisness losing to them anyway.

I for one agree with them. I own one, but I wouldn't really call it next gen. In a literal sense, it is Nintendo's 8th gen console. Compared to the other consoles though, no, not next gen.

it was about the Xbox one and PS4 because they were launching around the time that episode was being made. you are reading too much into it. it would have been funny if butters had a WiiU though.

the gamecube looked like a fisher price toy with that purple color and also it had its own issues, couldnt play dvds which the competitors could do and it came out later then the ps2 which was established at that point. i did like the gamecube hell i still have my fisherprice cube in my attic somewhere.

i like it too, but can you honestly say it would have done much better if it didnt look like that? I mean it wasnt like it ONLY came in purple and it didnt have DVD player but was that a big deal? Wouldnt it being cheaper than PS2 have offset that?

How is this trolling?  All he is saying is that he thinks most people interested in a PS4 probably aren't the type of person who would want a Wii U.  That they are essentially two different markets.
