Actually if you keep up with the RK... well, It was planned as a 3DS exclusive, then they said they had a ''surprise'' for those who liked the idea of the game, and -ta da!- the surprise was that they nixed the 3DS in favor of every other platform...

Yep, it was planned as 3DS eshop exclusive but I guess Renegade Kid had other ideas.  I believe they are focusing on porting the DS Moon game over in a series installment.  They should have kept the 3DS version for Cult County considering it was originally planned as an exclusive.  Kind of dick but at least they are porting it to the Wii U I suppose.  They should put the 3DS version out considering the 3DS eshop has helped this company out more than any other online shop.

For me they can root in hell, the 3DS is sacred.

I think it's kind of hard to blame them.  They can make the game with Unity and put it on everything else or they can make the game for the 3DS alone.  In addition to that, it would seem that the 3DS turned out to be too limiting for what they really wanted to create.  From both a financial and artistic standpoint, it's difficult to argue with their change in direction.  It's a shame a few people got disappointed but I doubt all that many people knew of the original plan in the first place.

Yea, I believe you are right.  While the game looks alright in early build it is obvious they were doing things (duststorm) to limit the draw distance (even though they stated it was to have a you are by yourself effect, set an erie mood or whatever), etc.  I wasn't that impressed when I first saw the early gameplay a few months back but saw the game had potential.  I had a feeling something might happen to Cult County when they announced releasing the DS Moon game as a series on the 3DS eshop.

I signed up to back this game, but unfortunatelly it seems that it's gaining very little traction. Unless they go on a media blitz and russle up some backers, they'll fail to reach the goal.
Either people are not interested, or they were too confident. But, there's still 3 weeks to go, hopefully they get the game funded.

You should pledge 2.5k and put your face in the game.  If goal isn't reached you get money back right?  I forget.

There are two problems: 1) If they reach the goal then, I'd probably have to sell a kidney or two, and 2) With my face in the game, the game would probably be banned in most countries because of disturbing images...

Yeah, I can't imagine this reaching its funding goal. :/

Oh well. At least I'll buy Moon Chronicles and Treasurenauts when they come out.
