I'm wondering how bad the Xbox one is performing in the UK. Damn, so many price cuts after 4.5 months. What was the original price?

It's not actually that bad. It may be behind the PS4 but is above Vita and more than double Wii U already. I think the original price was £429.

lmao saying that it is above vita and wii u aint much boast eh! thats not really special at all . so as @ immortal said this has to be performing bad for so many price cuts

I will say what I said in the ASDA-thread:

In all fairness, I will say this is a good deal...

However, didn't everyone say the same with the first TF bundle price cut as well? Then they included Forza in the bundle a couple of weeks later, and now there is this new "price cut" as well... How can this be considered a good deal, when there potentially could be an even better deal only a month or two down the road?

For me, this is just a big, red flag....

Not sure if this is retailer cutting price or MS. I can check at work later. I know for a fact though, that the retailer will be losing money on the console if they are not being reimbursed by MS.

Other retailers still have the old price so it looks like this is Amazon countering Asda's deal. Probably hoping to make back on losses on the console through game and accessory sales.

If its that way. As soon as stock clears, they would order less and less from MS then. Wii U situation incoming? If this persists, yes.

Smartest nam evila

Current Platforms: HighendPC[rip]/PS4/PS3[rip]/Vita[rip]

Shame there is no exclusives other than DR3 I want to play on the system right now otherwise I would think about it. By the time D4, QB and Sunset Overdrive come out the price should be even lower.

Just checked at work, retailer promotion not MS...

It launched at £429.99 on it's own. I have to say I was very tempted to pull the trigger at £350, but really my ideal price is sub £200, however this early on, I think if I could get it for £300 with Dead Rising 3 new, I'd probably bite.

RIP Dad 25/11/51 - 13/12/13. You will be missed but never forgotten.

Even cheaper at HMV atm. £339.99 if you use code.

Nice deal, so X1 has better value now?

Prediction: Switch 2 will outsell the PS5 by 2030

Dreamcast all over again. I remember when its price went down to like 40 quid or 50.

That's exactly what Microsoft want you to believe.

People were already saying that for the first 2 price cuts.  Microsoft know any official price cut is bad for long term marketing. So they disguise price cuts behind "free games" and "limited retailer promotion".
