I enjoy the singleplayer on every Call of Duty game... personally I don't get the hate, aside from maybe the graphics being pretty meh (Although let's be honest here, the PS4 version of Ghosts did actually look really nice... or I thought so atleast), and the prepubescent kids online... they're the only two negatives I can think of.

The singleplayer campaigns are always fun and action packed! I really, REALLY, enjoyed Ghosts!

People hate on it because it's popular and it's a game that is easy to scapegoat the problems of gaming on, at least that makes up a large part of the reasons I hear on the internet on why Call of Duty is bad. I'm not too much of a fan of Call of Duty because it doesn't interest me, but the games are not objectively bad, as repetitive as every new installment is, they are polished fairly well and offer some good popcorn entertainment.

From a campaign standpoint I'd rank the ones I've played:

BO2 > Ghosts > World at War > MW1 > MW3 = BO1 > MW2 = COD 1 = COD3

I don't remember a proper stealth mission... Do you mean the one in the jungle? That can't compete with a real stealth game at all...

I haven't played CoD since MW1 and the SP was pretty disappointing. No freedom at all, I don't remember the old CoDs to be that restrictive. The variety and locations were ok, SP gameplay was boring and the story was stupid.

The Wiimote controls are pretty good and the core gameplay mechanics are alright. Many CoD fans don't like the Killstreaks, but I have no complaints (probably because I don't know the other recent CoDs).
The biggest problem ist the map design.

I've played all the CoD campaign games on 7th gen and I gotta say that CoD Ghost was one of the best i've played in the series.

I thought it was good; you got to choose your own path through the jungle, instead of just following a linear chain of conveniently placed cover, or worse, just following the AI character in front of you to avoid being seen, which is what usually passes for "stealth" in COD. (Looking at you, All Ghillied Up. Playing Follow the Leader for 20 minutes ain't fun)

I really did try to like this game. Personally, I loved the MW trilogy, and I was hoping that this would be the beginning of a great new one. Unfortunately, I was disappointed.

The story was weak, the Ghosts were dull, the villain was uninteresting, and ending was lame. But most importantly, the campaign just wasn't all that fun. The space and underwater missions were especially horrible.

Extinction mode was a train wreck. I kind of wish that Infinity Ward had just played it safe and given me another Survival Mode where I shot at terrorists (rather than aliens). At least I (probably) would have enjoyed that.

It's the worst MP COD since COD 4. SP isn't exactly what COD is judged on.

It is with me. ;)

It seems to be the most widely reviled entry to the series since MW2, yet I actually found it to be one of the better ones.

The space and underwater levels added variety, it had a proper stealth mission that wasn't just "follow the leader", and it had possibly the best Wiimote + Nunchuk FPS controls ever.

I enjoyed it. Hating cod just seems to be the popular thing to do... even though most of those haters probably bought it too. Not the most graphically impressive games, but they play very smooth, control very nice, and the action is intense. Its fun, and thats whatmatters most.

I enjoyed the sp. Didn't touch mp.
