Forums - Gaming - Is remastering a 1 year old overkill??

I honestly don't know why anyone would buy it. Seems like a great rental if you've never played on PS3 though. Or if PSNow is out by then in US you could do that for like 5 bucks maybe since it's more of an experience heavy game. But even so, people won't think of that and buy it anyway.

Just a late port for a game that had bad timing. I'd like to see that treatment for GT6 as well.

If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.

Not everybody played the game before.

There's a lot of Xbox 360 owners jumping ship to PS4 so this will be their first chance.

My 8th gen collection

What about this game seems like it would be better to rent than actually buy?

Think of it as a cross gen game, not a remake.

Yes and No... Yes cause it makes the company look very greedy imo but no for anyone that hasn't played it and want the "best" experience (unless you bought Tomb Raider Definitive edition where they made her look like a whore)

The price. There's been games that have had over $100 worth of EXTRA content for less than $60. I see no reason to spend $60 on this one. Even if you've never played it, it will still be a year old game.

But, but, theres multiplayer  OAO

I expect TLOU to sell 7 millions on PS3 Lifetime + 2 millions on PS4 lifetime(there is a lot of swing gamers on PS4 that didn't play this game on PS3)
