Seems a waste of time, why run around getting buffed up for 5 minutes for a match that won't last half of that. Mode will be dead couple months after launch as everyone just jumps straight into matches instead.

...for fun? errr...I mean, if you find it fun to run around and get buffed, then that is why you would play this mode. I personally think it looks like a blast...

Ya know, I hear being negative all time is bad for your health.

People play online to play against others, after people get tired of this they'll just use normal matches were you immediatly play against others.

Journey, not destination.

Looks interesting, especially the part in the top-left up in the sky, and to the far right. Looks like you'll have to fall a long way down, then work your way up before crashing to your doom, to reach it.

I'm curious if those platforms at the top center actually lead anywhere.

You never played Kirby Air Ride, did you?

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

he doesn't seem like the kind of person who did *shrugs*

Just want to point out this only works because each player has their own screen. Splitscreen in Smash would be dumb.

Haters never played Air Ride, don't recognize this as that game's best mode.

You said exactly what I wanted to say.  I LOVED this aspect of Kirby Air Ride.  It being in Smash Bros seems like a lot of fun and I doubt it will die off quickly, especially for old fans of Kirby Air Ride like myself.
