Nintendo, which counts the Americas as its biggest market, advanced 4.3 percent to 53,400 yen, the most since Feb. 14. The company's Wii will surpass the Xbox 360 in total U.S. sales by June, helped by Video-game titles including ``Super Smash Bros. Brawl,'' Nintendo of America President Reggie Fils-Aime said.

The Wii could easily outsell the 360 by 100k/week in the US (if they had the stock) - June is about 16-18 weeks away, so about 1.6m extra sales.

If they can ship the consoles, it's done. If they can't, then Reggie should probably know about it, so I can't call foul just yet.
