Looks a lot better than I thought it would be. An 8 year old console has never had this much life in it. 360 is and always will be a beast.

Dude...Titanfall isnt a demanding game. I've been saying this forever that its on par with COD Ghosts in graphics. Game looks essentially the same. They are old COD devs so their developmental style isn't all that different. Battlefield 4 has a much larger leap in graphics.

You can say it forever and as long as you want... it won´t make that less wishfull thinking... or does COD have maps as big as TF with multlevel verticalit and up to 50 "players" at the same time.

It´s your opnion, man. Others don´t have to agree.

Then you're just denying the obvious. Its not much of a debate anymore, bro. Sorry to say.

I´m ok if want to live in the Neogaf world, cuz we all now the game goes to "single digits FPS" or "never reaches 60Hz".

The game is beautifull, it´s plays smoth and responsive... deal with it.

But maybe I´m to busy having fun... Not even the tearing is bodering me.

I am having fun with the Xbone version myself. No problems here, i was just talking about MS. Trust me, talking about it doesn't spoil my fun.

Then you're just denying the obvious. Its not much of a debate anymore, bro( Sorry to say). The proof is there and everything I assumed was essentially correct. By setting my goals for the 360 version of this game based on previous work of the company I all I had to do was pay attention to their body of work to know how the next game would turn out. Bluepoint isn't a bad company either. They are actually one of the best porting companies in the industry when they made ports for Sony. I have an Xbone and trust me I have no issues with playing it, but MS is all propaganda as a company. They were dependent on outsiders to sell their console and hid the 360 version of the game, which I am sure was a stipulation EA added to maximize profits.

Maybe it's that oldass engine too.

Nah, that engine belongs to Activision, but they just remade something that works kinda similar, I am guessing. Its easier to play than COD for sure. When EA recieves more than reasonable profits for Titanfall (which it deserves) they'll give Respawn the money. Lord knows after Activision Respawn doesn't want to be purchased nor give their IP's to anyone.

I will take the Digital Foundry instead any guy that said that didn't have any of the new consoles.

The game is fun but have dated graphics (even on PC)... the controls are responsibles but there are framerate drops and a lot of screen tearing.

So, you quate me to say that the game never reaches 60fps and dips to single digits FPS??

Funny, cuz the DF analisys says otherwise.

No DF shows it dips to single digits and that it didn't mantin contant 60fps... welcome to the real world.

"Well, we put some time into this and didn't spot any single-digit frame-rates, but this is clearly a great way to stress-test the game, and we can well imagine that if all 12 Titans were let loose in a confined space, frame-rates could plummet to a noticeably unacceptable level."

I´m 7min into the DF video analisys... It´s hits the 60FPS mark most of the time when a pilot.

Keep trying.

I hope the people here and on GAF talking about how it's "not too far off from Xbone" and "not that below Xbone/PC" remember that the next time we're being subjected to thread after thread about some 3rd party game running in 1080p on one console and 900 or 720p in another. I mean, LOL, MGSV was a "huge difference" between the two next gen versions. If that's true then these should be like checkers vs chess.

On the one hand most of the gameplay of Titanfall seems intact, which is all that really matters. But in some areas they sacrificed so much of the graphics and sound and effects, it seems to take away from the game. I have been watching live streams of some of the MP and the Titan play is extremely neutered. Weak weapons, almost no effects, no great sounds. On the other versions when you fire quad rockets for example there is awesome sound, huge explosions, and great effects. You can feel the impact of your barrage. On the 360, nope. It's like a sparkler. And Titan melees, shit they suck in this version. It's one of my favorite things to do on Xbone because it just feels so fucking good and rewarding. On the 360 version it's almost like you're in the WWE, there's not much of an impact at all and the other Titan seems to be moving back from the impact of your punch before you have even connected.

I figured they'd have to make some geometry changes to the maps but they seem to have gotten around that by putting in extremely lowered textures and lowering the amount of AI grunts and specters running around. Then again I haven't seen Lagoon or Boneyard being played. And the frame rate is noticeably a lot worse, plus the screen tearing. I see a lot of people talk about screen tearing but you know how many times I noticed it on Xbone or PC? Zero. It must be like the texture pop-in "problem" in RAGE, you gotta look out for it to even notice it. But in these videos I noticed it right away.

Will be a nice game for those unfortunate enough to not have an Xbone or game on their PC. But a far cry from those versions of the game. I really want to see some LTS to see how the game handles that.

Its fine.

http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2014-04-04-titanfall-on-xbox-360-will-run-at-over-30fps

"Titanfall on the Xbox 360 is the true experience: all the maps, modes, pilots, titans, weapons, burn cards, you name it, found in the Xbox One and PC versions," said Bluepoint's senior producer Daryl Allison in a recent update on the official Titanfall site. "The game looks great, sounds great, and above all it plays great. There are of course some technical differences that are due to the technical limitations of the hardware - for example, the game runs above 30fps - but rest assured, the intense 6v6 wall-running, titan dropping action is all there."

"We wanted Xbox 360 gamers playing Titanfall at the same time as everyone else, but it needed more time. EA and Respawn made the right call and the extra time has paid off," he added. "Titanfall on the Xbox 360 is definitely a game that Bluepoint Games is proud of, and we're excited for you to get your hands on it."

People in the response section were calling out MS for witholding info and not allowing the game to launch side by side with the Xbox One version. The game runs just as it should just above 30 fps. Even PC gamers were telling people who were on the fense about buying the game on the Xbox One to just get it on the 360. MS loves playing games with consumers. The game could've been launched and patched within two weeks. I don't buy the whole waiting game story. One month? LOL Even Skyrim took a while to fix when ported to the PS3.

What you're saying makes a world of sense, but when held up to a next gen/PC standard. For the 360 its just fine and in the end unless it is the will of consumer they have ever reason not to jump now. Its crisp by 360 standards which is above 30FPS which was pretty much standard last gen. They'll be fine.

The guy on twitch said 540p the resolution.. it is the same than Allan Wake.
