I hope the people here and on GAF talking about how it's "not too far off from Xbone" and "not that below Xbone/PC" remember that the next time we're being subjected to thread after thread about some 3rd party game running in 1080p on one console and 900 or 720p in another. I mean, LOL, MGSV was a "huge difference" between the two next gen versions. If that's true then these should be like checkers vs chess.

On the one hand most of the gameplay of Titanfall seems intact, which is all that really matters. But in some areas they sacrificed so much of the graphics and sound and effects, it seems to take away from the game. I have been watching live streams of some of the MP and the Titan play is extremely neutered. Weak weapons, almost no effects, no great sounds. On the other versions when you fire quad rockets for example there is awesome sound, huge explosions, and great effects. You can feel the impact of your barrage. On the 360, nope. It's like a sparkler. And Titan melees, shit they suck in this version. It's one of my favorite things to do on Xbone because it just feels so fucking good and rewarding. On the 360 version it's almost like you're in the WWE, there's not much of an impact at all and the other Titan seems to be moving back from the impact of your punch before you have even connected.

I figured they'd have to make some geometry changes to the maps but they seem to have gotten around that by putting in extremely lowered textures and lowering the amount of AI grunts and specters running around. Then again I haven't seen Lagoon or Boneyard being played. And the frame rate is noticeably a lot worse, plus the screen tearing. I see a lot of people talk about screen tearing but you know how many times I noticed it on Xbone or PC? Zero. It must be like the texture pop-in "problem" in RAGE, you gotta look out for it to even notice it. But in these videos I noticed it right away.

Will be a nice game for those unfortunate enough to not have an Xbone or game on their PC. But a far cry from those versions of the game. I really want to see some LTS to see how the game handles that.

What you're saying makes a world of sense, but when held up to a next gen/PC standard. For the 360 its just fine and in the end unless it is the will of consumer they have ever reason not to jump now. Its crisp by 360 standards which is above 30FPS which was pretty much standard last gen. They'll be fine.
