Forums - Microsoft - Titanfall Xbox One Bundle + 12 month XBLG sub $449 @ Target.com

Rollbacks vary based on the deal reached with the supplier. I ran a WM electronics section for over 2 years, part of the daily routine is adjusting new and expired rollbacks. What Target does, I have no idea.

The only issue with MS dropping their price w/o dropping Kinect is they are still the more expensive console and Sony has a much much better margin than they do. Sony can always cut their price to maintain price advantage. Price wise XB1's only hope is no Kinect, but they would be seriously gimping what MS was trying to do with XB1.

I can see them dropping Kinect and selling it separately, but they probably have a contract for a certain amount of Xbones with Kinect for the initinal run (10 million would be my guess) and there could be big penalties if they try to change that.

lol @ all the desperation talk from above..you guys are funny

I wouldn't necessarily call it desperation, but it's certainly not positive. Going from $500 for the X1 and Kinect to $450 for the X1 + Kinect + TitanFall + 12 months of XBL after just a few months isn't exactly a sign that things are going to plan.

Value wise that's the biggest price cut we've ever seen so early in a consoles life.

If this isn't desparation it's pretty damn close. They're giving away the game that was supposed to turn the tide against the juggernaut PS4 and giving away a year of Gold which is their money maker.

Yes, they are. To make certain that it turns the tide against the juggernaut PS4. Would you rather they just sat back and waited to die, like Nintendo did?

Glad to see so many threads telling people what deals are currently on offer for the X1.

Im not doubting that the price drop is official and final, it makes sense for them to drop the price, but Walmart Rollbacks are not permanent. For example Call of Duty next gen was on Rollback to $40 but is now back to full price.

Ohhhh thanks... I don't know what Rollback means... the precious announced said the "$499 $450"... the two prices was showed so I guessed (wrong) it was something geting official already.

I got my Xbox 1 for free, well I mean my girlfriend bought it

I'm biased but I posted because I belive some guys wants a Xbone... and the deal is really good for US.

To you have a ideia... I bought on day one a PS4, a game and in December I revalidade my Plus signature... so if you use the official prices in US I spent $510.

You can have today a more expensive console paying $450.

They are getting more and more desperate! This is starting to get a bit scary.

I'm sorry, but I really don't see how a continuation of the same discount we've seen for weeks now, that was already quite reasonable in the first instance, can be interpreted as 'getting more and more desperate.'

starcraft - Playing Games = FUN, Talking about Games = SERIOUS

Much better value then launch X1, question is is this official MS or retailers getting rid of stock ?
Wonder how sales factored in all this discounting.

Its a bad sign MS had to drop the price so soon + the giveaways
Its is a good sign however that MS is willing to do this.

End of 2009 Predictions (Set, January 1st 2009)

Wii- 72 million   3rd Year Peak, better slate of releases

360- 37 million   Should trend down slightly after 3rd year peak

PS3- 29 million  Sales should pick up next year, 3rd year peak and price cut

I hope it hits $450 with Titanfall and 12 months XBL in the UK. Well I'm not so fussed about Titanfall, but £300 with a game and 12 months XBL would be my biting point. Especially if the included game was Dead Rising 3.

RIP Dad 25/11/51 - 13/12/13. You will be missed but never forgotten.
