Mario Kart 8 has some cool items but there isnt a lot.

Here is a list of items in Mario Kart Arcade GP DX

Mario Kart Arcade GP DX has the most items out of any Mario Kart game.

Well, is it confirmed that all the items have been shown?

But in any case, I do wish there was a way to block that stupid blue turtle shell cause as far as I know, there isn't one for MK8! (but if there is, please tell me)

If they did that, my dream kart would be complete!

Also this is why I loved MKWii, such an amazing game.

You can also shroom through one if you time it right

Wow, I didn't know you could dodge a blue shell with the mushroom! I hope this is possible in the new Mario Kart, and hopefully there will be other ways to do so as well!

Iirc, there number of different items you can get per race is like 3 or 5. Regardless, just having more items isn't automatically a good thing, and no one cares about Mario Kart Arcade anyway!

A Nintendo-Namco crossover having more items than an Nintendo-only counterpart?

Continue being fair and balanced, as usual VG.

Also, wouldn't that be overkill with ALL those a mainstream Mario Kart title? At least the character-specific items in double dash was easier to deal with since they were, well, character specific.

If all of these items were in MK 8, beyond a shadow of a doubt, one or more of you lot would be making countless threads talking about how unfair / unbalanced / over-saturated / ruined MK 8 was because of WAY too many items despite the whole competitive side of Mario Kart Nintendo's trying to appease with 8.

Don't deny it, it WOULD happen here given this site's history.
