Seriously though how is that good, the track is amazing so you should want to playit for a long time. Also with the shortness of it you cant have a lot of crazy comebacks =(

Nonsense, it's a disasturrrr!!!! .............................
....then again, considering how ONE lap was roughly 2 and a half minutes, 3 laps would likely be even longer than playing 3 laps on the N64 version.....but still, an option for VS or online should still be there!

But....time trials is boring when you don't care about getting the best time in anything. Need all the chaos of the 12 racers, online or offline to fully enjoy a track! . 2 and a half minutes for a Rainbow Road track is too short!!
They'll probably fully-feature the game like MKWii, though I wonder what caused them to remove single-player VS mode in MK7 in the first place.... O_o . I liked playing SP VS mode in MKWii and DS whenever I didn't feel like playing online.
