I was talking about Japan only. I don't think Smash will make 4 mil.

lol... I love it how people are either. Smash! duh or FFXIII no competion here, japan loves their RPGs.... a few of you have found the middle ground it would appear.



End of 2009 Predictions (Set, January 1st 2009)

Wii- 72 million   3rd Year Peak, better slate of releases

360- 37 million   Should trend down slightly after 3rd year peak

PS3- 29 million  Sales should pick up next year, 3rd year peak and price cut

Dragon quest IX obivously..the largest install base (even bigger than the ps2) equals the greatest sales

but between SSBB and FFXIII, it will be SSBB by a long shot.

This is actually pretty interesting. We are without a doubt looking at the worst selling FF title in recent history, as well as the best selling Super Smash Bros, but will it be enough? Brawl is definitely hitting 2M+ while FF13 is staying below 3M unless it's really, REALLY mind blowingly good. That's all I'm willing to predict, with Japan being as unpredictable as it is.

If you look at the entire world, Brawl wins by so much that it isn't even a contest.
