Okey. So yeah. First of all. Stop with the 31. march fools. It's not fun. Secondly, stop with stuff thats obvious. Please, at least TRY to make it plausible.

Just reporting the news, also maybe if you didnt live in such a slow timezone you would be prepared

D: I might live in a slow timezone,  but I also live in a country where we got enough cash to whipe our asses. Yes, I'm implying that we have enough money to surgically add more asses.

I wasn't aiming it at you you know. :D It was pretty obvious that it was an article. it was mostly a general thing. And all april fools should follow GMT. Bow to your superior, the English!

The Virtual Boy controller is the dead giveaway here.

The controller could at least have the right name on it (gives it away as a crappy joke). Anyway, Virtual Boy was one of the worst consoles ever

Xbox Series, PS5 and Switch (+ Many Retro Consoles)

Prediction: Switch 2 will outsell the PS5 by 2030

No.

VB failed for many reasons.

3D has failed in gaming and other media to capture mass appeal. 3DS was lucky enough that it can stand without 3D and the 3D tech didn't massively increase its cost.

Virtual headsets will fail too. Nintendo hopefully sees this and does not build a console around VR.

It's too early to say whether or not VR will fail ...

No its not.

It'll fail for the same reasons 3D has failed.

Price, % of people who won't care about tech, and inconvienant/have to wear something.

Sony/Nintendo pushed 3D hard... both had no gain from it.

Sony/FB will push VR (most likely) and both will have no gain from it.

Personally, I like both techs. But, I am a nerdy son of a bitch. The mass consumer or in our case, mass gamer simply won't care.

The only way Sony's purported system will take off is if its really cheap and some how it by default works with all PS4 software.

April Fools Day can be so wearisome.

3D failed because it was mostly irrelevant to gaming ...

If people want new experiences price will make little difference.

See statements above.

Again speculation of your part ...

It doesn't have to be cheap. It can be mildly pricey as long as it can give people new experiences.

Ah, so it has already begun!

Pfft... the OP is just pulling your leg.
