VGC is based off estimates and usually relatively close to the actual numbers.  When VGC is wrong it is usually fixed.

Insiderp on the other hand has been way off and yet to show any reason to believe what they say. It appears to be more of a blog from a hardcore fan with an agenda rather than anything educated. VGC's community may not agree on everything but on this, it appears the community agrees that Insiderp is full of shit.  Nobody is going to care if this site gets banned, instead i believe it will be applauded.


When have they been way off, though? I don't remember a definitive case

Yes ban this site, as for people saying we should start banning users. Are they claiming to be a industry professionals that have insider knowledge? Also for the people that say "VGC have been far off before" VGC has been upfront about it's numbers being estimates, on the other hand on Insiderp's website "know the exact sales figures".
