You're not the only one. People here make me laugh, the reality of the situation is that most people current PC arent going to push graphics much better than their home consoles, especially PS4 and Xbox1. Fact is their are very few people out their that is going to go the extra mile and get graphic cards more ram to even get it to current gen levels. They would rather pay the 400-500 dollars and not deal with the hassle.

Yeah. It's a tough decission to pay 200 bucks for a new Nvidia Maxwell GPU which easily handles > 60 fps or 400-500 for a next gen console who strugle at 30-45 fps...
GPU and "quality of pixels" are progressing that fast that even Microsoft and Sony choose the "Nintendo way" - instead of selling high-end at a fraction of PC costs they sell you this time middle-class (at best) GPUs for some bucks less. This "next gen" has by far the least value compared to PCs. And as Pascal-GPUs with a 3x improvment are "just around the corner" (2016) I wonder what that means to Microsoft and Sony. As Steam and others are new contenders which simply have the freedom to redefine what a "console" is like
