Microsoft - "Console gaming not dead in Japan"

Yup. we all know how much Microsoft knows about Japanese gamers.

Its on life support.

If MS don't release or buy Japanese games for it's consoles, Xbox is shooters, shooters, shooter.
If MS tries to get Japanese developers a hand by making deals and 1st party games for it's consoles, oh it has no chance in Japan, it's dead on arrival, Japanese don't like hamburgers.
Some people lives must utterly suck for being this sour.

Microsoft's focus on games just keeps getting more impressive. Who would have thought.

Man 1.5++ million 360 12++ million games that's a huge attach rate... Never paid attention to Japan rates... Since to me they are completely irrelevant since a couple Gen...

but I don't know what that country find in smartphone gaming... I play a ton of them too, but 99.99999% are utter crap and not a single one has anything on any dedicated gaming platforms...i admire that country's tradition, but sometimes I wonder if they have any kind of finesse or refinement when it comes to modern habits and behavior....

anyway Xbox 360 has more market share in Japan than OSX has in some countries should apple stop selling in those countries???

I admire the optimism, but damn bro. No, just no!

Nice try but no one in Japan wants an xbox lol

Xbox saving console gaming in Japan confirmed.

Sigs are dumb. And so are you!

Jesus, look at the responses in this thread.

OT

No its not dead. It is rapidly diminishing hough.

All 3 consoles will be the poorest selling consoles each manufacturer has ever released in Japan. Quote me.

(ironically, the ONE has the best chance of that not happening, but only because the original xbox sold so poorly there)

Brave prediction there mate. Obviously this is going to be the case.
