Hmm, what people need to realize is that Technology plays such an insignificant role in Sony. Sony's fortune comes mostly from life insurance which.... thanks to a series of bad bets, threw the overall company into chaos... hence why these scenarios are coming up. With that said, Sony already tossed their computer line to Lenovo (yay!) and other areas are likely to be discarded. However, thinking about the situation, I wouldn't mind seeing Samsung buying up the Playstation brand if Sony spun it off.
