"This was our dream for more than 10 years. To make this game." *leaves company before the game is finished*
I dont know how they can say these things with straight faces.

Wouldn't be surprised if Sony shut down Evolution after Driveclub launches, they should only need one flagship exclusive racing game, give Polyphony a kick up the arse to lower their development time for Gran Turismo going forward. |
Theres more to the racing genre than realistic sims. Evolution studios is the only hope for Wipeout aswell. Sony worldwide studios already closed Studio liverpool, i dont understand what the problem seems to be with the european studios. SCEE most certainly isnt taking a loss.

Made me laugh.
OT: Makes me really wonder what's going on with Driveclub development. To go from launch title to "maybe 2014", something has to not be working with the game at all.
Wasn't this the guy at the PS4 reveal that was so passionate about realistic looking cars in games?
I will just love seeing all these people crawling back to AAA when their indie stuff doesn't work out for them.
If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.
In no way am i gloating. But i did say sony wont be the same in 2017 as at the start of the gen. I was laughed at here. I also predicted these cuts and cancelled games. More will follow unfortunately.
let them go if their games are coming out like chit, how important can they be... new ppl/leads will be hired eventually, ppl come and go.. still plenty of first party stuff in the works
This guy left the Studio in February 2013. It was even confirmed and put in the update to the ign article.
"SCEA can confirm Col Rodgers, who served as Game Director on Driveclub, departed Evolution Studio in February 2013 to pursue other opportunities."
