Forums - Nintendo - Who's at Big Red Button? (Makers of Sonic Boom Wii U)

They are clearly a veteran studio, with a heavy influence from Sony's US developers. You can really see the influence in Sonic Boom, which looks very much like a classic Playstation 1st party game. Nintendo would be really wise to contract them to be "2nd" party, with them having already made a Wii U exclusive. It would give them some content they've really been missing.

Aye, they'd be a great addition to the Retro/NextLevel/Monster stable.

I hope this game ends up being good. But I have the feeling that it will suck soooo bad. The fact that they keep saying that the game is aimed at kids between 6 and 12 years old, while it explaines alot, it still makes me want to puke.

Maybe the next trailer will make me feel better, but god did the first trailer was terrible with that dumb dubstep and gameplay pretty much showing nothing of relivancy.

It's a game that has playable Knuckles that isn't Sonic 2006/Black Knight (BK was okay, but very nonstandard)

That enough gets me interested.

Really gotta wonder what other projects they may have on their brain...

I predict NX launches in 2017 - not 2016

Sounds good. This better be amazing!

I must admit, I'm cautiously looking forward to this.

I thought Sonic Lost World looked good before it released too, when I realised it seemed the same, twitchy, annoying Sonic game that I'd tried countless times before to like and just couldn't.

This, however, particularly that screen:

Looked very Jak & Daxter esque and got me a pretty interested in it.  Wish it wasn't Sonic though; I have no connect with these characters.  And having the script writer from Lost Frontier & Daxter isn't great either since those games contained paper-thin stories that weren't at all interesting (although is he actually with BRB?  It says he's working for Blizzard in that article).

However, it is cool how many industry veterans have all sprung up in one place to create this game.  Made a killing from Superbot staff, too :P

God damn this sonic game is looking up! Even if it's exclusiveness turns out to be it's downfall I know I will be personally buying it (Like every other Sonic game ever :P).

Consoles: 3DS, Wii U, and Vita soon. Super Paper Mario fan.

After how Sonic Lost World ended up I lost every good will towards any upcoming Sonic game.

They should try making a Crash game or a Jak  game. They simply seem to be perfect for those franchises for whatever "unknown" reason!

They should make a Crash game -- then make it WiiU exclusive lulz :)

Or maybe a game legit called "Dude Raider"
