It was released on a Friday here in the UK. Some games release on Tuesday's here, but the majority seem to come on a Friday.

Bound to happen. Anyone expecting inFamous to outsell Titanfall isn't using logic. Just because there's more PS4's doesn't mean everyone's going to buy the game.

Edit: Also, BAN INSIDERP!!

Titanfall "fell" 75% in the second week. It's going to dive off the charts. Infamous won't likely have that happen so expect it to win.

I've never understood the rivalry between Titan Fall and inFamous. From sales to reviews to graphics, everybody feels the need to compare these games. It's like comparing Little Big Planet to Gears. They have nothing in common aside from being big titles. The obsession with Titanfall by Sony fans and inFamous by Xbox fans is crazy. I think it's just sexual tension.

What fall off do you expect, 75% would be quite normal.

Since the game only has a score in the 80's, and word have mouth has exposed it as NOT being the second coming, I expect it to fall pretty fast. The only games that stay up are games that score really high and live up to the hype. This isn't going to happen for this game. Most of the first week sales were from people who hadn't played it yet or read a review.

People ain't got nothing else to compare because the Next-Gen still haz no gaems!

Really, that's all it comes down to.

Official member of VGC's Nintendo family, approved by the one and only RolStoppable. I feel honored.

Titanfall had more than a week's head start, and was on PC as well.

Both came out on a Friday in UK. This article clearly states Titanfall 1st week UK > inFamous 1st week UK.

Sorry, I was going more by the title. Did they factor in PC sales though? Didn't see that mentioned.

So since when a week starts on Friday and end on Tuesday (today)? Are we comparing a week with the weekend by any chance?

Yeah, not knowing about a site shouldn't disprove its credibility. I'll admit he's wrong there.

Forgive me for going off-topic, but do you not try and disprove the credibilty of Insiderp because you do not know about the site? Even though they have provided fairly accurate sales figues in the past?

No, I disproved the credibility of insiderp because they have a shitty web design and very far from accurate numbers. They said Sony sold 500k in Japan on launch and they haven't updated their sales charts since January. Its a BS site. They also said Titanfall only sold 480k in US and 700k worldwide. Which was bullshit.

fixed
That's a usual drop for highly pre-ordered games. Especially first person shooters.
