So, 3DS is definitely an exciting platform for us, because we’ve got a huge install base, and we want to take advantage of that. We’ve got a lot of developers that want to take advantage of it. So, we’re working towards that as well. But nothing to announce at this time.

A source would be nice but awesome if true!!!

Damon Baker of Nintendo has suggested that Unity could eventually be used for 3DS development

Misleading title, they just said they're looking into it.

The folks behind Unity3D also said the exact same thing around 2010 before the 3DS was even released.

"We'd love to get it working on 3DS but can't announce anything today."

I thought they were thinking about implementing it, didn't hear about it being a foregone conclusion.

They said they aiming for it,but not making any promises.

So it sounds like a high possibility that isn't 100% guaranteed.

I guess only time will tell.

Nice to hear, hopefully it'll be a clean transition.
