Maybe EA will start getting the respect that they deserve.

Dungeon Keeper and Battlefield 4 say otherwise.

Man..some gamers are just despicable. There are companies out there actually destroying lives and you believe a gaming company is the worst because of microtransactions and not finishing a game that you don't even have to buy? Lol shame.

This fucking especially about gamers in general ... How can a gaming company have so much hate in many lives when the hobby itself is not essential for life ? it may sound like I am shitting on gamers but they're probably the stupidest community.

I agree

Agree with murph.

Dungeon Keeper is a free to pay microtransaction game and so Battlefield 4 had issues at launch, as well as SimCity(which got completely resolved in a few days.)

There are several video game companies that have game breaking issues in their games and nothing gets resolved.

Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 Plus from Koei looks pretty, but the amount of lag the game has is ridiculous.  It's not that noticeable early in the game, but it gets progressively worse as you get further.  On stage 9, Flying Fortress Daedalus, it runs at around 5-10fps very frequently.  The game has yet to receive a patch despite many complaints online.  I emailed them that I'd like a refund because I couldn't get one from where I purchased it despite the issue with no response.

Sony has had several games that have had issues.  SuperBot Entertainment developing Playstation All Stars was clearly a mistake, people that Sony supposedly hand picked.  Not only were there major balance issues, but while playable, the online wasn't ideal a majority of the time because of the horrible implementation of netcode. Twisted Metal had lots of bugs and a horrible netcode to where you couldn't get in game.  It took six months to fix that issue.  Did I get any free games like EA offered to the people who bought SimCity and fixed the issue within four days?  Nope. I paid $60 for an amazing multiplayer game that lost its community within the month.  Sony had Jak and Daxter ported to the Vita, and supposedly there are framerate issues which make the first game unplayable.  Sly Cooper Thieves in Time also had framerate issues.

I could go on with examples, but you get the idea.  As much as people try to make EA seem like such a bad company, It's not like other companies haven't done the same.

Then there's EA buying the rights to the NFL license.  NFL wanted a single publisher and gave the rights to the highest bidder of what I can guarantee was many.  Sony probably even bid on it as they owned the NFL Gameday franchise.  So people who bash EA for having a yearly football game with minor changes, why not bash Sony and 2K for their yearly baseball games?

While I agree that they are probably not the worst company in America. They are easily the worse gaming company in America. Anyone who disagrees with that either has unlimited funds and can afford to pay to win, has never played Sim City or Battlefield 4, or is not a Nintendo Fan.

I take it that you have nothing to counter ?

Even when they were at their worst they didn't deserve to win, there are far worse companies in America, such as Monsanto. Plus EA has been doing better recently, for instance adding offline play to SimCity since the fans wanted it.

Well, I would argue we are on a gaming website and niche's always win things like these polls.....but the fact that not only do they not "win" this award, Monsanto, but that many people dont know about them explains so much about whats wrong with voting in general, politics and otherwise haha.
