Dungeon Keeper is a free to pay microtransaction game and so Battlefield 4 had issues at launch, as well as SimCity(which got completely resolved in a few days.)
There are several video game companies that have game breaking issues in their games and nothing gets resolved.
Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 Plus from Koei looks pretty, but the amount of lag the game has is ridiculous. It's not that noticeable early in the game, but it gets progressively worse as you get further. On stage 9, Flying Fortress Daedalus, it runs at around 5-10fps very frequently. The game has yet to receive a patch despite many complaints online. I emailed them that I'd like a refund because I couldn't get one from where I purchased it despite the issue with no response.
Sony has had several games that have had issues. SuperBot Entertainment developing Playstation All Stars was clearly a mistake, people that Sony supposedly hand picked. Not only were there major balance issues, but while playable, the online wasn't ideal a majority of the time because of the horrible implementation of netcode. Twisted Metal had lots of bugs and a horrible netcode to where you couldn't get in game. It took six months to fix that issue. Did I get any free games like EA offered to the people who bought SimCity and fixed the issue within four days? Nope. I paid $60 for an amazing multiplayer game that lost its community within the month. Sony had Jak and Daxter ported to the Vita, and supposedly there are framerate issues which make the first game unplayable. Sly Cooper Thieves in Time also had framerate issues.
I could go on with examples, but you get the idea. As much as people try to make EA seem like such a bad company, It's not like other companies haven't done the same.
Then there's EA buying the rights to the NFL license. NFL wanted a single publisher and gave the rights to the highest bidder of what I can guarantee was many. Sony probably even bid on it as they owned the NFL Gameday franchise. So people who bash EA for having a yearly football game with minor changes, why not bash Sony and 2K for their yearly baseball games?
