My exact order too... Although once I use the DS4 more, I'll probably like it more than the GC controller despite the stick placements. |
I cant say much about the DS4 since i dont personally own it. From me messing around with it it feels better than the DS3 though, couldnt stand the cramped style it had. Wasnt super comtorable because im still not a fan of the stick placements and the top buttons (L1, L2, R1, r2) But yeah it seems everybody likes the GC controller if they like the Xbox controllers haha I will say in my opinion that DS4 is a huge improvement over the DS3.
I like the X1 controller better... I hate dem analog sticks on the ps4 controller (still better than ds3 but not good enough)

I still prefer the GC controller, nothing gets as perfect as that, but yeah the DS4 is one of the best I've used.
Keyboard + Mouse - more or less unchanged and still kicking butt for 40+ years.
Well when the developers for The Divison are using the XB1 controller I beg the differ. Xbox has had the best controller for two straight generations.
The 360 and Sega Saturn model 2 are by far the best controllers ever made. I have heard GC had an awesome one as well but I have never tried it :). DS4 seems like a big improvement, but I simply cannot get used to the symmetrical sticks.
It's a good, functional controller that managed to improve on the original Dualshock. It fits really well in my hands. I like that there is a headphone jack. I also think the touchpad can have many practical uses, for both gaming and non-gaming purposes. Its only real flaw is the battery life, which imo needs to be much longer.
I have yet to hold the DS4 with my own hands, but based on what I've played so far, I can say that the Gamecube controller, Sega Dreamcast controller, Wii U pro controller and all Playstation controllers feel really comfortable. N64 was 'ok', I guess...
