In all honesty, yes. It is basically the same model, but with a completely different move set. This whole new version has been very low budget cause Ono didnt have many resources to develop it. Thats why we are getting the characters that were on SFxT and Decapre is actually the only new character. They had to cut a corner somewhere and the model and some animations were probably it.

With that said, the Ultra version is looking really good. I am more happy about the extra stages than the extra characters. I miss the days when we had a stage per character. :(

Yes I do realise you said that, but that's your opinion. It is also released as a standalone game and for that I call it a re-release. And a total rip-off.

Also they're replacing the copy of Super Street Fighter 4 in stores not adding a new copy. They're doing this for the very few, who never bought the game in the first place. Or for those who actually want the copy. I don't see the problem here. If you don't want to buy a new copy then just get the upgrade off Psn/Live/Steam.
