we saw the same thing last gen, and the gen before....but it would make sense that you never agree on anything....despite this is how it's done. Your decision.

reviews make no sense. once you accept that it is easier to ignore the gamespy's and polygons of the world.



End of 2009 Predictions (Set, January 1st 2009)

Wii- 72 million   3rd Year Peak, better slate of releases

360- 37 million   Should trend down slightly after 3rd year peak

PS3- 29 million  Sales should pick up next year, 3rd year peak and price cut

I think I posted a thread about it back when I made this and tried posting it on reddit (where the mods deleted it because it wasn't "gaming related"), but I don't think anyone else has been using this, are you sure you aren't thinking of a different picture? How is it not gaming related? I'm not sure how many times I've seen it, but it was enough for me to remember it.

Lol, don't ask me, the mod didn't offer an explanation, I probably could have put a pic of a PS4 or X1 in the background and it would have been fine, but it wasn't that important to me.

I haven't seen it used anywhere, but I would find it funny if someone picked it up and posted it somewhere else.

Some probably did. I wonder if they took credit...

I think they are just being compared to last gen games since overall they are still very comparable. And nothing super spectacular has been released yet.

They are still using the inflated review scale that they used in the past, its just that fanboys get irate when an exclusive doesn't get a 90 and they think the only way this could happen is if the entire review scale changed overnight!

But they did.

Just wait and see. Reviews will increase in score over time.

People will say, "that's because the games are improving in quality"

and then my point will be proven

9's and 10's are considered 'genre-defining'. The only next-gen console that has any of those is the WiiU. No need to have sour grapes about that. X1 and PS4 will have theirs in time.
