Rare is irrelevant now. I don't know while people still talk about them when the aren't referring to them in the past.

Honestly i hate when threads are made about rare because the exact behavior that people are displaying. Viva Pinata, Conker: Live & Reloaded, and Kameo has all been great games. KInect Sports and avatars has also been a huge success. Perfect Dark Zero was ok, nothing special though, while Banjo Nuts & Bolts was good for what it was, just not what people wanted. Ghoulies was really the only game they made that didnt turn out good.

Anyways they said they are doing teams so im assuming theyre making two games. I can guarantee one will be a new ip. Theyve also teased old franchises on numerous occasion so we may expect an old ip as well.

Adding to this Rare has also talked about them wanting to do something with controllers that may have kinect in it as well.  They have expressed being more core though.

Either way Rare is good, new and old
